We are a boutique 3 guest room B&B in a quaint historic town just right for folks who love great music, non-traditional art, fabulous food and unique shopping.
Here’s what to do: Call us and tell us when you wanna come spend the night. Grab a pal or your gal or your wife (hopefully they are all the same person) and head just a few miles north of Dallas. Right off of I-75, just north of 121 sets old downtown historic McKinney. This town has lovely houses and buildings that date back to before Abraham Lincoln was president. That’s before women could vote, and it was illegal to drink alcohol, and top-hatted men walked around with canes and said, “Well, howdy, ma’am”. Jesse James and his gang, Bonnie & Clyde, and even Annie Oakley once roamed the streets of downtown McKinney.
Enjoy a night on the square dining at one of our casual or fine eating establishments. Then, walk around the square and plan your shopping for the next day because every single one of our 112 stores are innovative and one-of-a-kind. Stop and have a night cap and listen to some tunes played by impressive local bands. Maybe swing by the gelatto shop and indulge yourself in some salted caramel or creme brulee. (You know you want it!) The best is yet to come as you enjoy a quiet 7 minute walk back to McKinney Bed and Breakfast. Enjoy a night of perfect sleep in one of our warmly elegant guest rooms and wake up leisurely to a carafe of hot coffee and homemade biscotti at your door. Go back to bed if you want. Or get up and enjoy the newspaper (or your laptop) on the wraparound porch.
A decadent 5-course breakfast (complete with dessert) awaits you and is included with your night’s stay. It is served on the wraparound porch, in our formal dining room, or even in the privacy of your own guest room.
